  • We always run FREE FAMILY FUN events with interactive activities, cafe, hot food, site tours, plant sales and occasional live music to liven things up. Times are usually 12-4.
  • Volunteers always needed (please sign up), any donations of cake, bands and workshops always welcome.

Wassail 7th February 2015

Come and celebrate the glory of a new year as the buds are setting and the bulbs are poking their heads up. 

Feed Bristol presents its traditional Mummers play, the Rag Morris and other bands to celebrate with a traditional wassailing around our apple trees. Hot refreshments from the cafe and seasonal BBQ

Bring your seeds and swap your seeds to get a little variety in your mix, learn about seed saving and relevant topics in interactive workshops. Times to be confirmed.

Free event happening on the Feed Bristol site, with some great workshops and activities planned, suitable for all.


Highlights of Wassail include Morris dancing, mulled apple juice, delicious food from the Market Kitchen, an apple tree pruning workshop, plus plenty of fun for the children. 



So, please come along, bring your friends and family and have a good time!

Bristol Seedswap
12pm - 5pm



Free seedswap event happening on the feed Bristol site, donations greatly appreciated.

Stock up with diverse and interesting seeds, meet and share experiences with fellow gardeners. Develop your knowledge with talks and films on seed saving, GM, food growing and local food networks. 

Browse our stalls for plants, fruit trees crafts. Enjoy freshly baked  cakes, drinks, hearty soup and live music. 

Bring seeds to swap in a labelled envelope or bag.


A large selection of seeds kindly donated by Tuckers, Tamar, Thompson Morgan and the Heritage Seed Library. All donations very much appreciated.

Free event on the Feed Bristol site. An excellent opportunity to take part in some hands on work and to get stuck in . Learn about wildlife-friendly vegetable growing and take part in  pruning and grafting workshops.

Free event on the Feed Bristol site, suitable for all. Highlights of the day include Facilitated workshops, discussions and talks, plus music and children's activities.
Please come along and join in, there will be plenty to do and plenty to learn and in a wonderful outdoor environment.

June 7th & 8th 


Get Growing Garden Trail 

12pm -4pm

Feed Bristol will be opening its grates to welcome the 4th year of the Get Growing Garden Trail, an event taking place as part of Bristol's Big Green Week.


There will be plenty to do and see, with a workshop on how to design your garden for pollinators. 


There will be tours of our lovely site and you can learn all about how the project ties in with the wider living landscape.

    Link up with a growing community of people intent on empowering Bristol to create a sustainable food future.

    Join us in a facilitated day of workshops about the people, projects, policy and practicalities to do with land rights, food sovereignty and policy.

    We will have a range of speakers from different aspects of the local food movement, including: The Blue Finger Alliance, Campaign for Rural England, Land Workers Alliance, Avon Wildlife Trust, Simms Hill, Edible Futures, the Food Policy Council and other influential key practitioners.

    Kids activities provided including apple pressing, story telling and pumpkin mania! Cafe and fresh from the plot food.

    Special ticket offer available onsite for Ceilidh by FItty Gomash and guests at secret location from 8pm. Not at Feed Bristol!
